This was a difficult challenge...I just couldn't get the picture of lace out of my head. I ended up taking a picture of one of my sisters crocheted pieces and making a mandala out of it

A lovely crocheted piece. I love the way the mandala extends the crochet into an intricate ethereal pattern beyond. As though it has come alive!
